Influenza Update 2018

2017 was Australia's worst flu season on record with over 217000 laboratory confirmed cases. Each year, seasonal influenza causes significant mortality and morbidity in the community.

This session will provide GPs and vaccine providers with an update on influenza and the vaccine program for 2018.

• Improve patient confidence by understanding the latest evidence
• Update knowledge on diagnosis and management of influenza
• Develop a system to identify patients eligible for the influenza vaccine
